Job Description

• Your mandate is to work to improve the product and building features for RouteVN

• You will be working closely with the founder on a daily basis

• You are expected to be able to learn fast, work independently, and do whatever is needed to make meaningful contributions to the product

What an ideal candidate looks like

• You have a passion for Visual Novels and you share the RouteVN vision

• You have a taste and high admiration for well designed products

• You are a fullstack software engineer, you enjoy working on frontend, but can also work on design, backend, devops, data, AI etc...

Tech stack

• We write most of our code in Javascript

• We have built several pieces of software from scratch, including:

  • Rettangoli: a frontend UI library

  • Graphics rendering language based on PixiJS

  • Visual Novel engine

  • Custom frontend and backend framework

• We will be integrating AI tools in places where it makes sense

Application and selection process

• Application submission. You will be filling a form to provide information regarding the following topics:

  • About yourself

  • Your experience with Visual Novels

  • Evaluate your product sense

  • Evaluate your technical and coding skill

• Video Interviews. We will be deep diving into different topics.

• Paid work trial. You will be working for a few days on a real world assignment.
