M&E Engineer - #1095105

JOB SCOPE

Responsible for executing the company projects in mechanical & electrical works in building construction which covers:

• Review project specifications and technical clarifications
• Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies
• Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
• Supervise the M & E works and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
• Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety & environmental regulations are complied with
• Identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural, ID, Architectural and Client provisions
• Work closely with the clients, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and drawing matters. 
• To lead the site M&E construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work by subcontractors.
• Carry out inspection of MEP works prior to concreting or subsequent construction works.
• Compliance with all necessary standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
• Oversee all related M&E issues on site

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Building services or any relevant qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• Knowledge in design and building project and relevant code of practice
• Familiar with MEP design coordination, Combine services coordination
• Familiar with MEP installation works, site coordination
• Contract Basis
• 5.5 days working week
• Project Site at Tuas
