ABOUT THE ROLE
Gain City is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join our HR team. Reporting to the Head of HR, this position also serves as the 2IC for HR operations, playing a key role in managing and enhancing our talent acquisition function and supporting group-wide HR initiatives.
You will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, assisting department heads in their manpower planning, and ensuring effective delivery of the HR function. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong operational mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for people and process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment for all staff levels, with a primary focus on the blue-collar workforce.
Oversee different recruitment channels and platforms
Prepare and send job offers, collect supporting documentation, and draft Letters of Appointment (LOA).
Organise and execute recruitment drives at Career Centres (CC) and with e2i approximately six times per year.
Coordinate internship programs with ITE, Polytechnics, and Universities, including liaising with HODs to gather requirements, engaging schools on placement periods, and handling grant applications.
Generate weekly recruitment reports and consolidate responses for all ongoing recruitment activities.
Draft and review HR SOPs related to talent acquisition to ensure relevance and compliance.
HR Operations & Organisational Support
Act as the second-in-command (2IC) to the Head of HR, supporting overall HR operations across the business units.
Review and update the organisational chart for each business entity.
Assist in rolling out group-wide HR projects, process improvements, and policy implementations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver effective HR solutions and ensure operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and HR-related statutory requirements, including MOM regulations, TADM processes, and the Employment Act.
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong background in volume hiring and recruitment administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with local education institutions and HR-related grants is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
