Exhibition & Spatial Designer

Play Nation is seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to join us as an Exhibition & Spatial Designer. The focus will be on creating spatial layouts for retail events and exhibitions. This involves creating and communicating spatial concepts in 2D drawings and 3D models to internal and external working partners. The ideal candidate should possess proven product design experience, displaying the ability to work on aesthetically pleasing and fun designs as well as ideating new concepts.

Spatial Creative Designer

Basic: $3,200 - $3,700

Min. Experience: 3 - 4 years

Responsibilities and duties:

• Design Development: Develop innovative spatial concepts integrating designs from Play Nation’s Products for Retail displays and exhibitions – Candidate will need to design retail spatial looks complimenting products with different themes throughout the year

• Designing of Pop-up Stores, display solutions, and design concepts for client's implementation

• Conceptual Development Process and Project Execution: Contributing creative ideas, managing of material selection and specifications process from project start to completion, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively. Candidate will need to be strong in conceptualizing creatively, visualizing and executing design work for both event / exhibition projects and company’s own branding

• Budgeting and implementation: Budgeting and liaising with manufacturers, assisting in assembling presentation materials and setups

• Project Management: Communicating with Licensors, Collaborating with carpentry, print & AV vendors to execute designs. Coordinating with other team members to ensure that all aspects of spatial setup are executed smoothly

Requirements:

• 3-4 years minimum relevant experience

• Team player with problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently

• Photoshop, illustrator, concept design skills required. 3D illustration & rendering skills a plus

• Positive, energetic, passionate in the toys & games industry (Peanuts, LINE Friends, Sanrio etc.)

• Good Communication and Presentation skills
