Fresh Planning, Senior/ Executive - #1094838

The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Fresh Planning Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of fresh product inventory across our retail stores. This role is central to maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing out-of-stock (OOS), and preventing overstocking scenarios, particularly during promotional and seasonal periods. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively across functions to support high product availability and efficient stock management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), drive performance and conduct root cause analysis for product availability and stock issues.

• Adhere strictly to store allocation replenishment SOPs and operational guidelines.

• Develop and maintain effective Distribution Centre (DC) stock planning and allocation processes to ensure the availability of fresh products.

• Plan and manage stock levels for promotions, seasonal events, and festive periods to avoid out of stock (OOS) and overstock scenarios.

• Effectively manage Stock on Hand throughout the DF network including near to expiry stock allocation and slow-moving stocks.

• Be accountable to the Line Manager on performance metrics and deliverables.

• Collaborate with the Commercial Team to support supply planning activities.

• Ensure consistent adherence to established SOPs.

• Work closely with the DC team to plan for capacity requirements.

• Carry out other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in supply or inventory management, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. excel, power BI, etc).

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
