The executive is required to provide secretariat and administrative support to the Academic Chair and key appointment holders in the Pathology Academic Clinical Programme (Pathology ACP) to ensure that all academic goals and key performance indicators are met. He/She will support any new initiatives, programmes, workgroups and acquire new skills and technologies for the advancement of academic medicine within the Pathology ACP.
The duties and responsibilities includes (but not limited to) the following:
Work closely with key appointment holders and relevant stakeholders to support innovation and global health initiatives/programmes in the ACP.
Support and facilitate appointed workgroups and stakeholders in the collation of data, preparation of study proposals, reports and presentation materials in the ACP.
Tracking of all relevant external grant calls (national, cluster, institutional) on innovation and global health. Co-ordinates grant applications from Pathology ACP and support the principal investigators (PIs) in innovation and global health fund management. This will include budgeting for grant application, submission of grant-related progress and final reports and billing.
Liaise with local medical schools and faculty in the ACP to prepare and submit dossiers for teaching/academic appointments.
Support fundraising initiatives/events in the ACP and SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC.
Develop solicitation proposals and stewardship materials with KAHs in the ACP and Development Offices.
Plan and organise ACP events/initiatives to engage key stakeholders/ACP community/ collaborators to contribute towards meeting ACP objectives.
Work closely with key stakeholders, collaborators, Finance and Legal on budgets, sponsorships and agreements execution.
Job requirements:
A recognised degree, preferably in healthcare or related areas
At least 1 year of healthcare job experience is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Proactive, able to work independently and as a team
Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
