About the role
TAT SENG PACKAGING GROUP LTD' is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in the Woodlands North Region. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting of the company, playing a crucial part in our continued success.
What you'll be doing
I) ESG’s role
Support in development and execution of the Group’s sustainability strategy.
Coordinate the preparation of our annual Sustainability Report in line with relevant frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB)
Facilitate ESG data collection and monitor key performance indicators across business units.
Conduct and support stakeholder engagement and materiality assessments.
Provide update on ESG regulatory developments (e.g. SGX sustainability reporting rules) and assess implications for the Group.
Collaborate with internal departments to integrate ESG into business processes and risk frameworks.
(II) Internal audit’s role
Assess financial, operational, external, and other relevant risks for business processes, products and systems being developed within the Group and provide appropriate recommendations.
Propose yearly internal audit plan base on risks assessment on the Company and its subsidiaries.
Perform follow-up audits to assess the adequacy of the implementation of audit recommendations.
Roll out the audit finding and recommendations to all entities of the Group.
To ensure the Company and its subsidiaries complies with internal control procedures.
(III) Other’s role
Overseeing and reviewing works done by the Corporate Accountant.
To prepare relevant schedule and report (e.g, monthly and quarterly key performance data, Quarterly tax reporting and Quarterly ECL reporting etc.)
Preparation, planning & analysis of annual budgets.
Coordinate and liaison with external parties on SR reporting & internal audit.
Manage timetable across the group on SR reporting, internal audit & budgeting.
To provide relevant supports/advices to Finance Department and SR’s person-in-charge of subsidiary’s company.
Recommend process improvement initiatives to improve procedures.
Ensure compliance with all accounting, statutory and legislative requirements.
Support and undertake ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
Able to speak and write Chinese to communicate with the China subsidiary
What we're looking for
Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification.
At least with relevant working experience or audit experience.
Proficient in Microsoft office and Power Point.
Meticulous; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge on Singapore FRS and consolidation.
Committed, confident personality with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Able to speak and write Chinese to communicate with the China subsidiary
Possess good planning and audit skills.
