Position: Equipment Technician (12 months contract)

Venue: Woodlands

Working Hours: Rotating Shift Schedule

Job Summary:

We are seeking Equipment Technicians to join our advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations in Woodlands. This role involves supporting equipment maintenance and troubleshooting across multiple process modules to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

Department Coverage:

Technicians will be deployed based on operational requirements across the following areas:

• CMP

• CVD2 / CVD3

• Dry Etch

• DIFF (Diffusion)

• IMP (Implantation)

• WET1 / WET2 (Wet Process)

• Bench

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Support tool recovery and bring-up efforts.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to cleanroom protocols.

• Record and report maintenance activities accurately.

• Collaborate with engineers and other team members for process and equipment improvements.

• Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Experience in semiconductor or equipment maintenance is an added advantage.

• Strong hands-on mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and handle chemicals safely.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts

• Team player with good communication skills and attention to detail.
