About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join our team at China Railway 11 Bureau Group Corporation (Singapore Branch). This full-time position is based in the Boon Lay West Region and will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within budget
• Quantifying and valuing work completed for progress payments
• Preparing final accounts and resolving any contractual disputes
• Providing strategic advice to project teams on cost-effective solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards

What we're looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a quantity surveying role
• Proven track record of successfully managing costs and budgets on construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and commercial management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with a range of stakeholders
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
