Role Overview: 

As an Editor, you’ll be responsible for developing and refining science and math educational content from manuscript to publication. You'll work closely with authors, designers, and internal teams to ensure all materials are accurate, curriculum-aligned, and easy to understand. This role is ideal for someone with a strong subject background and prior experience in education or publishing

Job Responsibilities: 

• Review, edit, and proofread science/math manuscripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with curriculum standards and house style.

• Provide feedback to authors and support them in refining content to meet learning objectives and reader needs.

• Collaborate with designers to develop clear, effective visuals (e.g., charts, diagrams) that complement the written content.

• Manage publishing timelines and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth, on-time delivery.

• Conduct research on educational trends and competitor materials to keep content relevant and competitive.

• Participate in content planning discussions and contribute to new title development strategies.

• Assist in promotional efforts by identifying key selling points and content highlights.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences).

• At least 3 years of experience in editorial, content development, or teaching.

• Familiar with the Singapore education system and curriculum standards.
