Marine Navcon Service Engineer (Up to $4000 / AWS / Office Hour) - #1093595

Job Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and service marine navigation and communication systems such as RADAR, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure all systems are operational and meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous system functionality.
• Provide onboard technical support to crew members regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Coordinate installations and repairs by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends to ensure the team’s systems comply with the latest regulations and technological advancements.
• Document service activities accurately, including installation, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided.
• Ensure high safety standards by adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining a safety-first approach in all tasks.
