Maintenance Technician (2 years contract / MNC / Up to 5k + AWS + VB) - #1093591

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance of machineries, equipment and plant facilities to ensure operability and functionality.

• Perform the required preventive and maintenance jobs as stipulated in the Machine Maintenance Check List.

• Participate and contribute to improvement activities with regard to HSEQ.

• Coordinate and manage contractors in performing their tasks safely and meeting our requirement

• Maintain proper maintenance documentation and be accountable for the up keeping, controlling and updating of spare parts

• To assist superior(s) to complete work orders properly & precisely upon completion of work assigned

• To execute superior’s guidance compliance with company policy, rules, guidelines as well as Singapore’s regulations

• Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls

• Ensure work activities and behavior achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements

• In addition to these duties/responsibilities employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required

Knowledge and Skills:

• Machine maintenance /repairing (electro -mechanical level) knowledge (essential)

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines (essential)

• Analytical and creative approach to problem solving (essential)

• Ability to communicate effectively on all levels with good management and leadership skills (essential)

• Ability to work under owns initiative with minimal supervision (essential)

• Ability to think strategically (essential)

• Recognized Forklift driving license (desirable)

Qualifications:

• Minimum ‘O’ Level or ITE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Relevant Industrial Training Certification (essential)

• Good communication skills (essential)

Experience:

• 3 years related maintenance experience within heavy machining production environment (essential)
