Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire an experienced APAC Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, compliance, and reporting across multiple markets in the region. This role will play a key part in ensuring financial integrity, optimizing processes, and supporting business growth in a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial reporting and compliance across APAC, ensuring alignment with IFRS and local accounting regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory filings, audits, and tax reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to enhance financial governance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial service providers to ensure compliance and efficient financial operations.
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective cash flow management, budgeting, and cost control measures across regional markets.
- Lead and mentor finance teams across APAC, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
- Shared Services experience is a must have
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in MNCs, ideally within logistics or supply chain industries.
- Strong knowledge of regional accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks across APAC.
- Proven ability to work independently with high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across multiple business functions.
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software.
