The Role

Reporting to the Manager of Internal Audit, this role offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to diverse business processes and work closely with senior management. You will be responsible for conducting risk-based audits, evaluating internal controls, and providing actionable recommendations that drive operational efficiency and growth.

Job Description

• Perform risk-based audits of business processes, and evaluate the adequacy of internal control systems.
• Recommend corrective actions based on best practices to improve the internal control and operating environment.
• Prepare and maintain quality audit working papers.
• Deliver clear and concise internal audit reports.
• Present and report audit findings and recommendations to management.
• Track, monitor and report implementation progress of agreed management action plans stated in internal audit reports.
• Perform ad-hoc investigations and other related reviews as assigned.
• Maintain close but independent working relationship with stakeholders, including but not limited to auditees and senior management.

Job Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of audit experience, with a passion for continuous learning. Experience in internal audit would be advantageous.
• Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or relevant professional qualifications
• Interest or experience in the hotel industry and property development is a plus.
• Experience with Big 4 Audit firms or listed companies would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice
• Prior investigation experience is a bonus
