About the Role

CIX is the lookout for a dedicated Market Research and Strategy Intern to support our Origination & Strategic Partnership team. This role will involve gathering and analyzing insights and you'll be contributing to meaningful projects that help shape the future of carbon markets and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on new environmental markets & products and their respective regulatory landscapes.
• Analyze the competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and prepare market comparison reports.
• Gather and synthesize information on carbon neutral, Net Zero standards and potential supply sources.
• Research new suppliers and compile detailed contact information for strategic outreach.
• Analyze and process market data using Excel or other data tools to support decision-making.
• Assist in compiling data-driven reports and preparing PowerPoint decks for internal and external presentations.
• Track relevant policy changes and summarize potential impacts on the business.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for report and deck creation
• Good time management and multitasking abilities
• Ideally able to commit full-time for a minimum duration of 6 months.
