Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Fixed Income Senior Associate/Associate to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the Fixed Income business through optimizing workflows, redesigning and automating processes to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fixed income products, work independently to manage stakeholders and timeline.


Key Responsibilities

Workflow and Process Management

  • Assess and streamline existing workflows and processes with proper documentation within the Fixed Income team.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize operational performance.
  • Ensure process changes align with compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.


Process Re-Design and Automation

  • Lead initiatives to redesign processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technology and operations teams, to implement automation solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement tools or systems to support automation and process enhancements.


Operational Support

  • Assist in resolving operational issues working in collaboration with other units.
  • Ensure operational processes support the growth and scaling of the business.
  • Provide any general administrative support work for SGX Fixed Income Listings business.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk, technology, and operations functions.


Job Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in fixed income operations, middle office, or process optimization roles within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income products, markets, and trading processes including settlement processes.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and automation projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, SQL, Python, or other automation tools is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present complex ideas clearly.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
