Job Summary:

Longbridge Whale is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in financial technology, particularly in wealth management and brokerage. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and support the development of robust fintech solutions. This role involves collaborating with product managers, developers, and end-users to enhance our digital offerings and ensure regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to wealth management and brokerage platforms.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Support product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize the customer journey and platform usability.
  • Conduct data analysis to provide insights for decision-making and process improvements.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance to validate business requirements and system functionalities.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting fintech, wealth management, and brokerage sectors.
  • Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably in fintech, wealth management, or brokerage.
  • Strong understanding of trading platforms, investment products, and portfolio management systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data analytics tools, and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflow tools.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
