Aquarist/Senior Aquarist - #1092846

Responsibilities

• Animal care and husbandry; animal feeding, handling, observation, enrichment and training.
• Support veterinary procedures.
• Maintenance and upgrading of enclosures.
• Data recording and reports.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of workplace, tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Life Sciences or equivalent.
• 1 to 5 years of work experience in public aquarium, aquaculture facility or equivalent.
• Possess SCUBA certification (preferably at Rescue Diver).
• Confident to work in an aquatic environment.
• Animal husbandry knowledge and passion to work with animals.
• Able to perform shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to lift 15kg of weight.
