About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Head of Innovation to lead our Innovation Team, driving the discovery, exploration, and development of disruptive technologies and next-generation consumer products. This role is central to shaping the future of our product portfolio, identifying emerging trends, and fostering a culture of creativity and technical excellence. As a strategic leader, you will lead cross-functional teams to transform breakthrough ideas into viable, high-impact product concepts that redefine industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the innovation strategy, aligning it with the company's long-term vision and market opportunities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and researchers to develop disruptive technologies and breakthrough product concepts.
• Identify and evaluate emerging trends and technologies to drive the company's innovation pipeline.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, rapid prototyping, and agile development to accelerate product innovation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to transition concepts from early-stage development to commercialization.
• Establish partnerships with universities, research institutions, and technology providers to leverage external expertise and accelerate innovation.
• Oversee technology roadmaps, intellectual property development, and strategic R&D investments.
• Present innovation initiatives and concepts to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Champion human-centered design and future-proofing strategies in product development.
• Inspire and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a mindset of continuous learning and bold thinking.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Product Design, Technology Management, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in innovation leadership, product development, or advanced R&D within consumer electronics or a related industry.
• Proven track record of leading teams in the development of disruptive technologies and successful product launches.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable innovation initiatives.
• Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains, including AI, embedded systems, and advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with open innovation, technology scouting, and collaboration with academic and industry partners.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and consumer needs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring teams and influencing executive decision-making.
• Passion for challenging conventions, pushing technological boundaries, and creating category-defining products.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
