Role : Logistic Officer

Location : Kallang Area, Singapore

Contract duration : 2 years renewable

Experience : Minimum 5 years' experience in freight forwarding and in order desk management

Role's purpose :

Ensure material availability and the on-time delivery of critical components on site particularly Return Material Authorizations (RMA)—by closely coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers through ERP systems and logistics tools.

Tools: Tracking systems, ERP (GSI SAP), SG PORT Clearance & Customs Declaration

Requirements

Key Accountabilities :

• Manage material availability, prioritizing missing and critical parts (RMA as top priority)
• Communicate effectively with the Material Planning team, engage suppliers, and follow up on order confirmations in both forward and reserve logistics.
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily warehouse operations : Quality assurance, Inventory control, Logistics and shipping, Space and equipment management, Floor productivity, Customer service
• Support the fulfillment center by managing workflow and maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and MHE (Material Handling Equipment); coordinate maintenance with suppliers
• Collaborate regularly with ILS, Material Planning, and Project Teams to analyze data and implement actionable inventory optimization plans
• Supervise logistics operations related to the transport of goods to customers and internal facilities; coordinate order fulfillment with client SMRT
• Review and plan workflow, staffing, space utilization, and equipment layout, ensuring alignment with productivity, quality, and customer service standards
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by establishing, enforcing, and adhering to health, safety, and legal standards
  
  
  

Education Requirements

Mandatory :

Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management.

Preferred :

Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

Experience Requirements

Mandatory :

• Minimum 5 years' experience in freight forwarding
• Minimum 5 years' experience in order desk management

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the rail industry
• Singaporean nationality preferred
  
  
  

Skills & Competencies :

• Fluent in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of SAP IM Module
• Valid forklift license
