Independent Luxury Jeweller, and B Corp Certified label B.P. de Silva, founded in 1872 along High Street Singapore, has been featured in various projects and media titles globally including prestigious titles such as VOGUE , Harper’s Bazaar and Robb Report . Beyond its discerning network of clientele, celebrities have worn the brand’s high and fine jewellery creations at red carpet galas, most recently at the 2024 Golden Globes.
Now in its 5th Generation, the brand aims to expand its international efforts, and in doing so, B.P. de Silva is establishing a team of seasoned, passionate, and creative marketers with a penchant for building a meaningful and powerful global brand for this generation, and beyond.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptualisation and creation of visual assets for use across social media, digital and traditional platforms
- Executing brand’s social media, digital, and content strategies
- Coordinating with relevant parties and agencies to ensure consistency in brand strategy across all channels
- Stay updated on evolving luxury media landscape covering online and offline channels
- Daily monitoring of social channels and participating in meaningful conversations with clients through social and digital channels
- Thoughtful copywriting for social media, blogposts, eDMs, press releases, etc.)
- Web design and management (Shopify Preferred)
- Global and local influencer, celebrity, and media relations
- Assisting in photography, and videography, as well as ad-hoc content creating operations
- Overseeing Visual Merchandising (VM) and retail marketing collaterals.
- Events Management
- Propose marketing strategy to improve traffic flow to stores
- Generate monthly reports and provide key points of analysis to the marketing team to improve the marketing strategies
- Ensure effectiveness of all marketing and media campaigns
- To develop and execute industry best practice strategies
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager or Management Periodic visit to the Flagship to understand business marketing needs
REQUIREMENTS
- A cover letter
- A degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Studies, or equivalent with 3 years of retail/digital marketing experience
- Initiative and resourcefulness
- Proficiency in social media tools (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok etc)
- Excellent copywriting skills, and thoughtful storytelling in English
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft office
- Experience in video production and/or video editing tools such as iMovie, Premiere Pro etc
- A thorough understanding of luxury, its clientele, and its nuances
- The ability to prioritise work, and complete tasks diligently in a fast-paced environment
- The drive to work well with a team, and/or on their own and to handle ambiguity
- The willingness to learn beyond field of specialty
CANDIDATES WITH AN ADVANTAGE:
- Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin
- Experience in a marketing/advertising/public relations agency
- Experience working in luxury brand (fashion/retail/hospitality/travel etc)
